Certain games will obviously perform better and more games will become playable as more and more updates come through, so the list is constantly updating and changing. Enable Wifi and launch Cubic Ninja game Choose the Create menu and select QR Code method, then Scan QR code option. You should now have a file named boot.3dsx and a 3ds folder on the root of your SD Card. The list of Homebrew Games and Emulators are below. Installing The Homebrew Launcher Download and extract The Homebrew Starter Kit to the root of your 3DS SD Card. However, some commercial games, (even big titles such as Kirby Triple Deluxe) are fully playable, with no issues at all at 60 FPS. Therefore, although a few commercial games are playable on Citra, XDS, and 3dmoo (as of now, TronDS and can only play homebrew games), some are extremely laggy (virtually unplayable) and some games don't even start at all. These emulators are real, however, the emulations are of course not perfect, as there are still some elements not yet emulated that certain games utilize or require) and the hardware on it is still not fully understood.
Currently, there are four real Nintendo 3DS Emulators: Citra, 3dmoo, TronDS and XDS. Since software installed via CIA appears on the 3DS’s main menu, it’s much faster and easier to access than going through the Homebrew Launcher first.
